Astro-Housewitchery; Come To Me Oil

Hoodoo Spiritual Supplies

Come To Me Oil is prob the most famous voodoo product of all. It’s certainly the most popular. You can buy it over the internet & thus get a bottle of red tinted scent oil with the most fabulously cheesy label that may or may not work.  It’s an ancient recipe and one with many variations. You can knock it up yourself at home quite easily…They all tend to have rose, patchouli, sandalwood and cinnamon. Rose oil is ultra expensive but you can reasonably buy a 3% rose diluted in jojoba little bottle. I think a lot of the commercial ones use synthetic oils and I can’t see the point. Only the essential oils are magic. A typical recipe is here

I like the variation of spelling in this one: Cum To Me Oil. Cum To Me Oil/Come To Me Oil is said to be sexually commanding and an attractant in the extreme – I HAVE actually tried it, for research purposes & I think it kind of works but much like the notorious Chinese Feng Shui Peachblossom Remedy – it brings in suitors FAST so fab for the ego if you’re feeling a bit low but they may not be all that. There are no quality guarantees issued with the Cum To Me oil.

Voodoo witches selling the stuff online have fantastic names though; Lucky Mojo, Sweet Mama Bishop & Lady Cleopatra, for instance. Fab!  I might just knock up my own little batch for the weekend, try it on for the Mars-Venus conjunction lol.

I went through a stage where I was absolutely ADDICTED to wearing Come to Me Oil!! Mostly this was because I just really liked the spell and made me feel sort of special like I had a secret ‘I have something going on’ type of feeling. During this stage I met and got engaged to my now ex-husband. I’m not sure how or if it does work, but the smell is VERY sexy…

I haven’t used these cos I make my own so I know what’s in it won’t give me a rash but there was a chinese woman who used to buy the gamblers oil when I worked in occult shop and she swore by it – and the chinese are WAAAY into gambling so she would know I used to think. She’d pop in on her way to casino – she was a sassy dame in her autumn years loved chatting to her about her roulette habit. It was rich green and made by anna riva in new orleans. Maybe called fast money?

I’m always loathe to use these types of oils as I think whatever result I get wouldn’t be genuine & I would only want someone to be attracted to me for ‘me’…..not for any enhancement or inexplicable allure they may feel

wise LL I once had some powder I’d bought on my hands after a lunch thing with someone I wanted to know better and my new boss shook my hand that evening and he was all over me like a rash for ages – it was creepy and I knew it was only because of the powder.

Actually I went to gather the ingredients for making my own, meh give it a whirl. I nearly had an apoplexy when the local health food store had patchouli oil for $92.00!! Is this right? I know that genuine rose oil is expensive but this…

eep it came out like i was saying you needed all the help when I was actually trying to say hang on I need all the help I can get too!

Had no idea patchouli oil was THAT expensive. I’ve been looking up how to make rose oil, considering my mum has nearly 200 rose bushes, I really SHOULD make good use of it.

LoL no I thought you were joking :) yes I don’t mind paying for quality but…

It is Alice Springs one has to be onto these things I might look around the net and see. Roses are devine.

nooo, i but patchouli all the time, you can get it for around $19 from good brands…i know it sounds naff but the best ones i buy these days are from dept. stores- Myer is actually a fab stockist. health food stores can sometimes over charge ridiculously, unfortunately.

Mmm, I love essential oils and will be trying this recipe to lure a gorgeous, flirtatious male colleague I’ve had a crush on for a while. Hopefully it will only attract him otherwise I might also have some creepy guys at work salivating, or worse still, stalking me!

It won’t only attract him! Try shifting your bed into the romance direction!

Ahh thanks for the suggestion but alas my bed cannot be moved. I will have to wear the oil when I see him outside working hours.

Just gotta be careful with the recipe guys, don’t confuse it with the ‘cum on me’ one, it could get messy in public places.

perfect potion do (did anyway) a similar one, perhaps toned down a tad – bergamot, lavender, ylang ylang, rosewood, patchouli – called eros – but not seemed to have the come to me effect yet – sigh – but its got a great sort of earthy sexy smell, so i wear it all the time anyway and live in hope.

Nuh the lavender & bergamot would antidote the come hithery sluttage i.m.o. They are a diff vibe. And I got my last vial of Patchouli for about $15 – it was an In Essence oil. Did you know, btw, that a lot of Steiner peeps hate patchouli and think it has something strange to do with outer space?

I hate patchouli because I grew up in Northern New South Wales and it smells like stinky no-deo hippy to me. I love a good natural scent but I’m telling you peeps patchou only serves to amp up the nnsw hippy whiff! Shudder.

I went to a Steiner school fete last week (only for the jams & fresh veggies) if I had have known that I would have worn some patchouli. I went back to the store and found that it was sandalwood that was $92.00.

Gem le T, I also grew up in N. NSW in hippy commune and I also HATE the smell of patchouli because it reminds me of men in harem pants with beards who say things like ‘let me help you realign your chakras and get rid of all that bad stress by massaging your chest’.
Uuuggghhh! So maybe it does work, but maybe it’s for attracting chest-massagers….

I love patchouli, but seabird, your description so hilariously reminds me of some of the old hippies I met in my teens (mid eighties). Ew ew ew.
