Here we go again guys! It is Eclipse Season…Not yet but we are officially in the ’shadow’ of the Eclipse from June 7. There are three in a row. The first is on July 7 and it is a Lunar Eclipse/Full Moon in Capricorn at 15 degrees. Then there is a super-strong Solar Eclipse/New Moon in Kataka a.k.a. Cancer at 29 degrees. It is the 2nd of two New Moons in that sign in a row. The first will be on June 22 and at Zero degrees opposite Pluto. And then the Eclipse. Okay and then there’s a Lunar Eclipse/Full Moon in Aquarius at 13 degrees on August 6.
Obviously, I will rant on re all this more succinctly in Daily Mystic & Nightly Scopes.
However; if you know/have your chart you might want to look at what you have in Zero, 15 and 29 degrees of Cardinal Signs; Cancer, Libra, Aries, Capricorn. As these are the zones most affected by the Eclipses. The Aqua Eclipse is the last in a series that began in Feb 2008. So expect something to occur that somehow marks the end of one era & start of another as the North Node goes from Aquarius to Capricorn. Try to analyze the phase from Feb 2008 to now and track what evolution has occurred. Especially if you’re Aqua, Leo or either of those signs rising.
The Eclipse most likely to coincide with intense change & new beginnings is the one on July 22. It’s not only a Total Solar Eclipse – it is the longest Eclipse that will occur in the 21st Century. See interactive widget of it’s path here. It’s like a super-heated New Moon and it’s trined by Uranus, adding to the sudden change vibe. Note; Trine – that’s beneficial & friendly. But essentially, the New & Full Moons from the very next one on June 8 (Full Moon in Saggo, squared by Saturn) through to the Aqua Eclipse on August 6 are O.T.T. but exceptional for initiating positive change in your life.

*sigh* and there I was thinking this eclipse season would pass me by…I suppose this means my nodes and Uranus will be implicated (at the aries point) in this, to add a new layer to my not-happening Uranus transits…? (I feel very Eeyore this morning!)
I keep hoping for something to shake things up (in a good way of course!) as I’m SO bored now with That CUB and his dramas which lets face it have been my only source of entertainment for three years now. Maybe the eclipse season will kill him off once and for all? (metaphorically I mean – like as in a soap opera when the male protagonist keeps coming back and then because the actor gets a better offer he is ‘finally killed’ and vanishes forever?!)
The Gemini Impregnee is due to give birth during the eclipse wierding – this is good, yes?

I get the feeling you might be talking too soon about those Uranus transits. Something will happen, you wait. Also, you’ve had some major upheavals in the last year I thought.

you’re right Uber, last year was a doozy, as was the year before… this one feels tame by comparison – but Uranus wasn’t really within range a year ago, when the Kaka hit the fan… but I did have Uranus in my Solar Return fourth house, so it was kinda inevitable that I had to move.
I pondered the issue of Uranus earlier today and whether or not it could be responsible for all the upheaveals my children have had to go through – eg. moving house, moving school, losing a grandparent etc. Maybe, as Jung would have it, I’m not OWNING my Uranus transits and thus my kids are copping them??
The biggest shock this year so far is only CUB related, and thus to be expected.
so yeah Uber, I’ll have to wait and see. I hope its not another house move – unless of course I suddenly come into wads of money and can buy something fab.

There’s not one of these that doesn’t trigger something in my chart. First is exact my Sagg Mercury in 12th and opposing natal Uranus in 6th, trine Pluto in 8th, sextile Chiron. Hopefully good health jag because transiting Saturn’s, which goes back into my 10th then, has been playing havoc with my aches and pains. Last time Saturn was here it put me in hospital with viral pneumonia.
New Moon on June 22 is conj my north node, opposite my Venus in 1st and Asc. squaring Neptune in 10th. How’s that going to effect my relationships?
The July 22nd is exact conj my natal Mars in 8th.
This should shake my ennui

June 22 Kataka new moon is conj my NN as well chesh, which is also conj my Venus(Gem), Vertex and Mars at the end of 4th house. And I am definitely not looking forward the Aqua/Leo Lunar Eclipse/Full Moon exactly conj my Sun in the 6th – health issues??

Aug 6th lunar eclipse/full moon is trine my 6th house uranus so hopefully improves health as it forms an air grand trine with neptune & chiron & a sextile with sag moon and merc even though it opposes pluto.

The big one will square my Aries Moon/Libra Mars opp. Home/Work.
How wide an orb to you consider for eclipses? 1-2 degrees? Or does it need to be smack on for you all?

None of the eclipses will be visible in Oz, but Mystic’s link up there maps the visible pathway nicely and here’s the NASA link http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/eclipse.html
I’m not an expert weathergirl, but I think everyone feels eclipse effects. Strongest if you have planets around the degrees Mystic lists above. The closer to exact, the stronger the effect, but I reckon the orbs would be damned wide.

Aries rising 15 degrees…
So personality, how I present, my instincts….. heck.
Nice to know there is an end to my journey since last Feb. It was then I walked from my Public Service job into the unknown, started temping, walked into multinational mining giant for short stint, it was extended, then given a job there, so went permanant, then 6 months later was made redundant, had seven weeks off, then applied for and was given a new, more senior role MUCH higher up the (same mining) organisation.
And I was just planning to chill out for a year, sort out my finances, then travel – instead I’m zooming up a career path I never even planned on.
So week 3 in new role, and almost everyday I sit at my desk, look south over brisbane, and am gifted with rainbows. If we have to have crap unseasonal weather, I’m just glad there are rainbows…

Hi, I have capricorn descendant at 15.30. My sun/mars conjunct at 29 degrees of pisces. will eclipse at 29 cancer trine my sun/mars??? Not really sure what eclipses mean.

eclipses are wonderful ! u dont get a choice, you’re plunged into the sea gasping while the land behind disappears .. things begin magically .. you become the beloved instead of yearning behind a glass door. there may be a terribleness for a while however you can get thro that. good luck !

I have Libra 19 Pluto 7th & Cancer 16 Merc 4th.
Thinking back to Feb 08 & I took on a big project at work around that month. Little assistance was available to me at the time but I forged ahead, worked my ass off!
Made lots of money & success for the business was consistent all year. Then I all of a sudden in Feb this year WHAM I hit a brick wall & had to resign.
I am not sure if this applies to the eclipse it was just a big thing from Feb 08. It’s been a really testing time since. I think I definitely learnt a few lessons…

A total eclipse of the heart?
The only total moon eclipse i experienced was in Moorea,
didn’t know it was coming & happens while out for a long night
walk, my guide said ‘the sky’s eating the moon’, it was awesomeness
itself to view that without prior info. There was of course no streetlighting
twas in ‘91. Moorea is in the Pacific & is where artist go to paint coz of the
colours there.Experienced a full sun eclipse there in Feb ‘90 as the first Gulf war
started, a titch terrifying.-

The 15 degree Capricorn eclipse will sq. my SN, POF and loosely, my Sun. (by four degrees).
I just checked Celeste Teal’s site for a reminder of what aspect orbs to use for eclipses, she suggests 3 degree for hard aspects.
The 29 Cap degree eclipse will be opp. my Moon but conj. Vesta and I think that will be nice.
I must do pretty well “in the shadows” (of eclipses) for positive change because crazy that the Aqua August 6th eclipse is part of the chapter from Feb. 2008. It will be within one degree orb opp. my Uranus. Can’t tell you how somewhat nuts this past year has been as last year beginning of Feb. I won a large amount of money. It has not been easy to stay out of the casino since and I’ve really run the gamut of all kinds of ups and downs emotionally. It’s been pretty awful quite frankly.
So, I joined Gambler’s Anonymous last Sunday and went to my first meeting and Friday I’m going to the Gaming Commission to fill out the forms and get my picture taken that bans me from the casinos over here. Yes, I have outlawed myself
But, I feel better already.

We have similar charts don’t we SP. I’ve never been great at looking after myself either, sure, we can heal others, but when it comes to us we don’t take care. Its good that you’ve taken this step. My guess is that your energy needs something that’s addictive to replace this one ? Something that gives you back something, and isn’t taking all the time. Thinking of you x

I think this may affect me, but I’m not sure how. Feb 08 was very significant, and it’s been pretty tough going ever since then.
Moon 16 cancer, trine eros and neptune, square mercury and venus
Venus 14 aries, conjunct mercury, square mars, trine uranus

Saturn 29 capricorn, square sun and mercury, opposite mars, conjunct jupiter, trine MC

Looks like the eclipses are hitting things in your chart for sure. Yet, I’m in no shape to help with your chart. As you can see from my post, I’m in the throws of figuring myself out…
Just joking (sorta…) Just real quick though, look to what planets are being affected by the eclipse and what houses they represent. Those are areas to consider developments in. Also, some say any planet affected by an eclipse will be more sensitive to future transits.

Many components have gotten me to where I am (a move, job change, boredom, loneliness…putting off my dreams). Putting off my dreams has been a biggie and I want my dreams back ….dammit (you know me, I had to put a cuss word in there somewhere…). I used to meditate everyday and write. Boy, crap like this can really suck your time, energy and creativity…Money is just a part of it. It can start to steal your Soul..
