Genius Anew

gyro

In Ancient Rome, the genius was the guiding or “tutelaryspirit of a person, or even of an entire gens, the plural of which was ‘genii’[6]. A related term is genius loci, the spirit of a specific locale. A specific spirit, or dæmon, may inhabit an image or icon, giving it supernatural powers. A comparable term from Arabic lore is a jinn, often Anglicized as “genie”….Wikipedia

Genius strikes anew sometime soon – as Mars meets Chiron!  In Aquarius! The future is here and it looks like fun. Be prepped to grok it as it happens….Friday lunch (lol) in Sydney, Thursday night in the Northern Hemisphere…And a new cycle of thought and action begins.

Trouble with genius is that it usually ‘takes one to know one’. How many times is a genius told to sit down shut up and stop talking nonsense.
The mention of Jinn reminds me of Arabian Nights one of the most brilliant anthologies I’ve read. The jinns were often quite troublesome as opposed to being genius in our understanding of the word. My ideas of true paradise were strongly influenced by those stories.

similar to fiacre being a druid before the christians realised they needed to get the celts on board and promoted him to patron saint of herb gardeners

James Hillman wrote a really brill book – easy reading for anyone – called The Soul’s Code, In Search of Character and Calling.. its all about our ‘genius’ in Plato’s sense of the word – daemon or spirit guide that comes into life with us. I recommend it :D
